The people behind the therapy
We are a small practice built on a simple idea. Kids do their best work when they feel safe, seen, and genuinely enjoyed. So we follow your child's lead, we use play as the strategy instead of the reward at the end, and we care more about connection than filling in a data sheet. Families are part of the plan here, not an audience for it, because you are the one with your child the rest of the week. Whether they are learning new sounds, adding one more food to a short list, or finding their voice through a device, all of it counts, and all of it deserves real support.

Kalie irwin, ms, ccc-slp
Owner & Speech Therapist
Kalie has loved working with kids for as long as she can remember. She shadowed all kinds of pediatric professionals early on and kept coming back to speech, and she has spent the last 12 years working with everyone from newborns to adults. Pediatric feeding and communication is where her heart landed.
Her approach is inclusive, child led, and play based. As a Level 1 sensory certified SLP, she looks at the whole child, not just the speech or the food. She values connection over data collection, because a child who feels safe is a child who is ready to learn. Parents are coached right alongside their kids, so the progress keeps going long after the session ends.
Kalie is a mom of two toddlers, so she gets it. The picky eating, the mealtime meltdowns, the worry that sits in the back of your mind. She is warm, a little bubbly, and happy to swap stories about her own kids while she helps you with yours.
Also worth knowing, she never leaves the house without an iced coffee and can absolutely be bribed with chicken minis.
